COCONUT MILK WITH FLAVOR

So why not make it a reality every day? It’s possible with one can of coconut milk and a blender. 🙂 Did you know that the mind doesn’t know if what we think and imagine is real or not? If sensations and feelings appear the physical reaction already happened in the body as it was real. So why not use that in our advantage and experience a tropical paradise just there where you are, with a glass of coconut milk in your hand. Let’s get you the recipe so you can start to enjoy as soon as possible. And don’t forget to put the music on! 🙂 My favorite tropical song is “Kokomo”.

BASE INGREDIENTS (for 1,5 litre):

  • 400 ml of canned coconut milk (1 can)
  • 1100 ml water (or less if you want it creamier)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp dates syrup or 1 soaked date (optional)

OPTIONS:
Vanilla coconut milk:

  • 1 tsp vanilla powder (or bourbon vanilla)
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder

Pink coconut milk:

  • 1/2 tsp beetroot powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Put the base ingredients in the blender and blend shortly. If using a soaked date blend until it’s thoroughly blended, and in the case of date syrup, you will only need to blend for a few seconds. The blending process will create some foam which I stir in with a spoon.
  2. Once ready, pour the coconut milk in bottles and keep refrigerated up to 5 days. With these simple steps, your coconut milk is ready to be used.
  3. Enjoy cold or hot and shake well before use (it can separate in the fridge). Use instead of dairy milk – in smoothies, with porridge, granola, for lattes, cakes, pies, or as you prefer.
  4. If you would like to add additional flavors to your coconut milk, then add spices as suggested above or make your combination.
  5. I usually first make basic coconut milk, pour half in a bottle and refrigerate, and then blend the other half with desired spices. This way I always have two combinations on hand – plain coconut milk and flavored one.
  6. There are so many options so a new post with new photos and combinations will probably follow soon. Until then enjoy in a white, beige or pink coconut milk, listen to the “Kokomo” and experience your tropical paradise! 🙂

Palme, tropski raj, godišnji odmor … tako nekako se slažu moje misli kad pomislim na kokos. Pa zašto onda ne pretvoriti to u svakodnevicu? Moguće je, i to s jednom limenkom kokosovog mlijeka i blenderom. 🙂 Naš um ne zna da li je ono što mislimo i zamišljamo stvarano ili ne. Ako se pojave senzacije i osjećaji u tijelu fizička reakcija se već dogodila isto kao da smo uistinu doživjeli ono o čemu smo mislili ili što smo zamišljali. Pa zašto ne iskoristiti to u našu korist i doživjeti tropski raj bilo gdje da se nalazite, uz čašu kokosovog mlijeka u ruci? Krenimo s receptom kako biste mogli početi uživati ​​što prije. I ne zaboravite na glazbu! 🙂 Preporučam “Kokomo” od The Beach Boys-a.

OSNOVNI SASTOJCI (za 1,5 litru mlijeka):

  • 400 ml konzerviranog kokosovog mlijeka (1 limenka)
  • 1100 ml vode (ili manje ako želite kremastije mlijeko)
  • Prstohvat soli
  • 1 čajna žličica sirupa od datulja ili 1 natopljena datulja (izostavite ako želite mlijeko bez sladila)

OPCIJE:
Kokosovo mlijeko od vanilije:

  • 1 čajna žličica praha vanilije (ili bourbon vanilije)
  • 1/4 žličice kardamona u prahu
  • 1/4 žličice đumbira u prahu

Ružičasto kokosovo mlijeko:

  • 1/2 žličice praha od cikle
  • 1/4 žličice cimeta
  • 1/4 žličice muškatnog oraščića

UPUTE:

  1. Osnovne sastojke stavite u blender i kratko izblendajte. Ako koristite natopljenu datulju blendajte dok se datulja potpuno ne izblenda. U slučaju sirupa od datulja bit će vam dovoljno svega nekoliko sekundi. Blendanjem će se stvoriti pjena koju ja žlicom umiješam nazad u mlijeko..
  2. Kad je gotovo, ulijte kokosovo mlijeko u boce i čuvajte u hladnjaku do 5 dana. S ovih par jednostavnih koraka, vaše kokosovo mlijeko je spremno za upotrebu.
  3. Poslužite ohlađeno ili ugrijano i dobro protresite prije uporabe (može se odvojiti u hladnjaku). Koristite umjesto običnog mlijeka – u smoothiejima, zobenoj kaši, napicima od mlijeka, s granolom, u kolačima, pitama, ili kako god već poželite.
  4. Ako želite dodati okuse kokosovom mlijeku, dodajte začine kao što sam gore navela ili napravite svoju omiljenu kombinaciju.
  5. Ja obično prvo pripremim osnovno kokosovo mlijeko, ulijem pola u bocu i stavim u hladnjak, a zatim drugu polovicu pomiješam sa željenim začinima. Tako uvijek imam na raspolaganju dvije kombinacije – obično kokosovo mlijeko i ono s dodatnim okusom.
  6. Postoji bezbroj opcija tako da ću vjerojatno uskoro pripremiti novi post s novim slikama i kombinacijama. Do tada uživajte u bijelom, bež ili ružičastom kokosovom mlijeku, slušajte “Kokomo” i doživite svoj tropski raj! 🙂
